Environments
You can create multiple (static) environments for each site you manage on Simply Static Studio.
This will allow you to have different instances to test the static site export before pushing to your live (static) site.

Environments can be enabled in the Environments tab of the Site Details by clicking Enable Environments.
Create Environments

Once enabled, you can create as many environments as you like. Behind the scenes, we will automatically create a "production" environment that contains your current site configuration.

All your environments will be listed in a table as shown above. Each environment gets a unique domain based on your current onstatic.studio domain - the domain is based on the name you've given the environment.
Use Environments
To make use of the environments, log in to your WordPress website and head over to Simply Static -> Generate:

You will see the current environment and a menu to switch between them:

Once you have switched an environment, you can change the entire configuration of Simply Static - we will store the entire options set per environment for you.
This feature is similar to Netflix's and Cloudflare's build URLs, but better: these instances can remain persistent, whereas builds in other tools only live for a short time.
Important: each environment counts against your quota, so the storage required for your site is multiplied by the number of environments running. Keep that in mind to avoid any surprises.
