Problems
The Problems tab summarizes SEO-related issues detected during Site Health scans.
Each issue includes:
- A severity level
- A description of the problem
- A recommended solution
- A shortcut to the relevant configuration page
Common issues include:
- Missing robots.txt
- Missing XML sitemap
- Missing verification files
- AI crawler recommendations
- IndexNow configuration
- General SEO warnings
Resolving these issues improves your website's visibility and ensures search engines can crawl your content correctly.
SEO Files
Many search engines require special files to verify ownership or control how your website is crawled.
Static Studio allows you to manage these files without modifying your WordPress installation.
Supported files include:
robots.txt- Search engine verification files
- Other static SEO-related files
Any files you upload or generate here are automatically included in future deployments.
This makes it easy to update verification files or robots rules without changing your website content.
AI-Friendly robots.txt
Static Studio can also generate an AI-friendly robots.txt template.
The generated file includes sensible defaults for modern search engines and AI crawlers while remaining fully customizable.
AI Readiness
AI assistants increasingly rely on structured, crawlable content when answering user questions.
The AI Readiness report evaluates whether your static website follows current best practices for AI discoverability.
Checks include:

IndexNow
IndexNow is a protocol that allows participating search engines to discover updated content immediately after deployment.
When enabled, Static Studio automatically:
- Generates your verification key
- Stores the verification file
- Tracks changed URLs
- Submits updated URLs after every deployment
This allows supported search engines to discover new or updated pages without waiting for their next scheduled crawl.
The IndexNow dashboard displays:
- Current configuration status
- Number of eligible URLs
- Recently submitted URLs
- Last successful submission
